Is a green pod that is covered in red "spikes" that have water-like droplets on the tips. The stems are green/ red.
Grows low to the ground. Is small, and grows in dense green clumps or mats, often in damp or shady locations.
Is triangular shaped (wider at the base, narrow at the tip). Is a plant that has leaves growing out horizontally from the stem.
Is stalky and resembles grass but is larger/ taller.
Has small star shaped flowers (seasonal). The stem is thin (brown, 5-10cm tall) and has multiple small green-brown leaves (2-6cm) surrounding it.
Has large, thick, green, glossy, egg-shaped leaves
(30-150cm long, 10-70cm wide). Flowers are densely packed in a cylindrical spike which is sometimes "protected"/ semi- covered by a large yellow "leaf".
